Final presentation

The modeling, however a bit rough on some parts was finished, as well as the main animations and the detailed storyboard, but a lack of computing power did not permit us to fully render the whole movie, nor to completely integrate everything into it.

Nevertheless, here is the link the preliminary version:

(temporarily unavailable)

The Blender file will be presented during the presentation given on the class on 01/27.

Rough lines: Marbles

Here it is.
This marks the end of the first week of this project, with a somewhat more clear vision of its purpose and contents.

First of all, the papers which we'll be using along this project to render physically accurate translucent materials (such as marble):

Then here a preview of the storyline of the short animation that we want to make, entitled "Marbles":

In a museum, The Thinker (T), Venus de Milo (V) are getting quite bored to stand still all day long and be nothing but a subject of not-so-silent admiration.
This night, as the guard (G) is patrolling, they decide to move out of their stands and gather.

- G patrols in the museum, arrives near V, put her into light, then moves away
- V waits for G to go away and descends her pedestal, then sneaks behind him to reach some place
- T begins to move
- G moves toward T
- T hides
- G passes him without seeing him
- T sneaks to gather with V
- They play marbles
- Marbles are rolled-up humans.
- FIN

To add a bit of life to this post, here is the (very) rough storyboard:
